The Rift Valley Children’s Village

The Rift Valley Children’s Village provides a loving home, family, and community for 101 orphaned, marginalized children. We are committed to supporting their development and providing them with the intangibles of childhood by giving them love, security, and confidence. Supporting our children until they have finished their education and reached fiscal independence is our responsibility.

Education

The Rift Valley children’s fund began a contract to partner with the local government to support Gyetighi Primary School in 2007. Gyetighi serves over 480 students and ranks as #1 government school in the Ward and in the top 4% of all government and private schools in Tanzania.

In 2013, the Rift Valley children’s fund signed a similar contract with Oldeani Secondary School. Having seen great improvements within the first few years of the contract, we expect to match the success of Gyetighi in the coming years.

General public healthcare

We are able to provide basic first-aid to the 101 children who call RVCV home. We also provide wellness checks to all students enrolled in gyetighi primary and oldeani secondary schools. We refer and financially support members from the oldeani community to seek care at fame medical.
